Cherry Tree Abstracted  No.1 16”x20” Acrylic

I started a semi-abstract series in Acrylic of our dwarf cherry tree. I used a limited triad color scheme as a practice in this painting I am hoping to have a series of the same subject with different color schemes. We rarely have the chance of eating more than a few cherries from this dwarf cherry tree. The birds beat us to it. In summer I have seen a couple of delightful Western Tanager eating the cherries. For the last few years they have been visiting us and even taking a bath in our pond waterfalls.
