Cherry Tree Abstracted  No.5 16”x20” Acrylic

As much as I paint, I am pleased when I am surprised by the outcome. Here, for instance, these two colors aren’t colors that I willingly try to exclusively, combine in my work, nevertheless in this experiment putting them together surprised me and the more I look at this combination that I rarely have in my own work the more I find merit in it. For me having that unfamiliar look is enough to be a pleasant surprise.
