In Port Orford from the lovely Castaway Hotel that stands high on a steep hill one can view the dock way below which is like an island where all the fishing boats are hoisted up out of the water after coming back from a daylong fishing. The next morning the boats, one at a time are hoisted back into the water to begin the daylong fishing. We also watched the activity of dredging to deepen the water around this dry dock.
