Emerald Spring Exhibition 2015, Juried Show

On Friday evening, Emerald Art Center in Springfield, OR held their 2015 Spring Exhibition, juried by nationally recognized juror Eric Wiegardt. My painting Alida With Parasol (Oil, 30" x 24", seen below) won the Gold Medal Award with a prize of $1000. 

 

 

Congratulations to the other award winners and all of the artists included in the show. Plus a big thanks to Merrilea Jones at Emerald Art Center and Pat Straube of Dari Mart Stores for sponsoring my award.

 

 If you'd like to see the show and all of the varied and beautiful paintings exhibited, it will run through May 29.

Thanks Barry. It was a pleasant surprise. Yes, I like my new website as well. And it is so easy to deal with and update.
