It may be considered strange that at my age I still seek in painting, that which is new, fresh and exciting. In this type of work which is intuitive, if I allowed thinking and evaluation get into the act, it would quickly alter its face to something, that I know works, but is also stale. A painting like this may mean nothing to anyone else but for me, it gives me self-satisfaction, freedom and may even lead to a new outlook.
